Charlotte Mclean is from Arbroath, Scotland and graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a first class honours degree. She has performed throughout the UK, Australia, USA, Switzerland and Poland in various works by Eva Recacha, Hannes Langolf and Dam Van Huynh amongst others. She was part of the repertory restaging of Hofesh Schecter’s ‘The Art of Not Looking Back’ at The Place, London in 2014 and has also performed at the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. She has been developing and touring a solo show called ‘And’ since 2017. She will premiere the final version at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2020. She is also co-founder of The Yonis, a contemporary movement girl-band based in London. Jungle was Charlotte’s first production with Pink Mama Theatre in 2017.
