Sławek Bendrat

artistic director / playwright / actor/ teacher

Sławek Bendrat, was  born in Poland in 1980. He began as a member of the Polish National team of Sport Acrobatics. After completing ballet training at the Ballet School in Poznan, he danced for five years in Polish Dance Theatre-Poznan Ballet in Poznan. He was engaged as a dancer at the Theater Nordhausen, at the Lucerne Theater under Verena Weiss and the Ballet National de Marseille at Frederic Flamand. Since 2009, Slawek Bendrat has based himself in Bern and is working as a freelance dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in New Dance Academy, Bern. His  solo dance performance PINKU CHIRASHI  was at Baltic Movement  Contest in 2010 and awarded the  prize for contemporary dance solos. In 2011 he founded PINK MAMA THEATRE with Dominik Krawiecki.
